As well as Islington, the partnership covers the central London boroughs of Camden, Southwark, Lambeth and Wandsworth, the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
It brings together partners with an interest in education and training post-16 to ensure that what is provided in central London is responsive to local community needs.
Currently, the partnership consists of a voluntary grouping of all the main colleges, universities, careers services, voluntary sector training providers and local authorities who provide post 16 learning opportunities.
These work together to spread best practice and to ensure provision meets the needs of the London economy and the many diverse groups in the capital.
