The City Fringe Partnership covers Islington's Clerkenwell and Bunhill wards within an arc running from Hatton Garden to Spitalfields, all immediately to the north of the City of London.
The £11 million of government SRB funding for a range of economic, social and environmental projects has now ended.
The area continues to be the focus for measures funded by the London Development Agency (LDA) to tackle barriers to competitiveness faced by local businesses such as workspace or take up of new technology and getting local people into work.
