Visit their web site HERE The City Parochial Foundation funds its grants from an endowment that has been built up over 400 years from the gifts and bequests of philanthropists and benefactors who lived in the City of London. Grants are given to organisations that help the poor in any of London's 33 boroughs. These range from one-off grants of up to £10,000 to longer term funding that includes workers' salaries. Their definition of poor is wide and includes people who are disadvantaged for most of the reasons that you can think of. City Parochial also administers the Trust for London which was set up following the abolition of the Greater London Council with an additional endowment of £10m. The Trust for London focuses its funding on small groups with no more than two paid staff. The City Parochial Foundation and the Trust for London have generously funded organisations in Islington over many years and you can obtain further information from their website. This also allows you to download lists of the organisations and activities that they have funded and to access a large database of hundreds of other funders and support organisations that can help your organisation get funding.
