Small and new organisations in Islington can apply to the neighbourhood renewal community chest and community learning chest.
Both grants are administered by the Cripplegate Foundation, range from £50 to £5,000 and support all types of activity that contributes to the regeneration of communities in the borough.
This includes festivals and small community events and projects.
There a regular funding rounds throughout the year and advice on making applications to the programmes is available.
